The Present Moment

The present moment is a tsunami delivering us all into the future. It can’t be stopped. Even a little change, though appearing to be important, will not stop a tsunami from moving forward – and that’s the nature of the present moment. The notion can be perceived as both terrifying and liberating, depending upon where we view ourselves in the wave. When the present moment is crashing down on us, typically things seem dark, and so does the future. When we are riding atop the wave, everything seems in alignment and free. The question is, how do we meet the present moment? And are we even living into it?
